Horizon Zero Dawn may be getting a significant upgrade in the coming months, according to a new report. The report claims that "accessibility features as well as graphics modes and quality of life enhancements to the gameplay itself," will bring Guerrilla Games' 2017 title in line with the similar standard as the sequel in 2022 Horizon Forbidden West.
According to MP1st, and confirmed by VGC, new character models along with animations, lighting, and other elements will reportedly be added alongside an array of accessibility options, essentially trying to balance between an update and a remake in the process. Several of these upgrades can be found in this game's PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn that was launched in 2020, but this game used a lot of the same assets in the PS4 edition.
In the article Guerrilla Games is also currently developing a Horizon multiplayer experience intended for PS5 or PC. Co-op elements were in the works to be included in Zero Dawn as far back in 2014, according to VGC's sources, but these features were canceled to ensure that other areas of the game could be buying FUT 23 Coins concentrated on. This idea isn't entirely taken off for the mainline series and may make it into Horizon 3.
